For the first time, J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter books will be presented in lavishly illustrated full-color editions. Kate Greenaway-award-winning artist Jim Kay has created over 100 stunning illustrations, making this deluxe format a perfect gift as much for a child being introduced to the series, as for the dedicated fan.

Harry Potter has never been the star of a Quidditch team, scoring points while riding a broom far above the ground. He knows no spells, has never helped to hatch a dragon, and has never worn a cloak of invisibility.

All he knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle, and their abominable son, Dudley -- a great big swollen spoiled bully. Harry's room is a tiny closet at the foot of the stairs, and he hasn't had a birthday party in eleven years.

But all that is about to change when a mysterious letter arrives by owl messenger: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place that Harry -- and anyone who reads about him -- will find unforgettable.

awsome

Harry Potter the illustrated version is awesome. The pictures add to the excitement and fun. I couldn't stop reading it. If I could keep it I would read it over and over. This book is amazing.

I love this book because it included funny parts and awesome spells and I recommend everyone to read this book.

This is the one to get you hooked on harry potter. When Professor 12367%^&@ you really didn't I would spoil it would you read it to find out which professor it is.

This is a really great book out of the whole series! I like all the others too, and I want to read the "Cursed Child," but this is my fav. The action with the dragons, the description under the lake, and the tension in the maze were ll so cool, epic, wild, and my style. This inspired me to always be ready for adventure! Woo-hoo Harry! Read this book and support J.K Rowling and her books!

The other version(this version) is good because its just better. In this one its explains better and make me feel more about the picture about this than others. I thought this is a AMAZING book to read so read this to get your spritis hyped for not just this but for the new book and movie coming out in July(IM DYING TO WATCH THIS).
