I really liked this book and I think it would be really cool if I could have a savvy too! I think it would be invisibility!
Everyone in the Beaumont family has a special skill called a savvy. They earn their savvy when they reach the tender age of 13. Grandpa Bomba can move the features of the Earth, Fish is able to control storms, and Grandma Dollop can capture radio waves. Now it's Mibs turn to get her savvy, but will she able to control in time?
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! words cannot describe how much I love this book! I read it over, and over, and over!! I hope anyone who reads this will love it as much as i did!
IT WAS COOL HOW THE BOY HAD MANY ABILITIES BUT WAS DEAF IN ONE EAR.I DIDN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND IT BUT IT WAS COOL. I RECOMEND THIS BOOK
i really liked this book. i read it before and i read it again. it was still very entertaining. mibs beaumont is a girl everyone can relate to. she is confused about her savvy (her family's special power that they gain at age thirteen) at first and then she goes on an adventure and finds out the details. the second book is just as good!

A very strange and exciting book about this family that gains super powers(that they call a savvy) at age thirteen. A great, fun book you will enjoy!!!!!
Throughout this book, I hoped that the father would be alright. There was just enough reality to make this fantasy story relatable for me. I want to read the next book!
