Women aren’t supposed to work so the family’s income is not a lot, and when Buran’s dad gets sick and there is no money coming in she decides that she is going dress up as a man and work. Buran is not your ordinary girl, she very smart so when business is thriving there come a slight distraction and she doesn’t know what to do. Proves that girls are as good (if not better) than guys. It is a good book with surprising twists and turns. It has the same plot base as the Alanna Song of the Lioness books.
