I love this book! My mom actually grew up there and my grandma still lives there so we go to Pumpkin Show every year. And it's true, they have pumpkin everything! 🥧🍝🍩🍔. Get this, my grandma actually owns a candy store there and they make pumpkin fudge and pumpkin peanut brittle every year for Pumpkin Show. The book is amazing!! Such a heartfelt story! I love when she says "I try to imagine what the road trip would be like if I was constantly puking on poor Aunt Arlene." or something like that.😂😂 Like I said this is a truly amazing book!! I love it!😍😍😍😍

Such a great book! It is truly amazing. I love how the author told the story from different characters' points of view. The only thing I didn't like was how Justin's chapter was in all lowercase, that got really annoying really quick. But other than that I loved it!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

OMG!! This book is amazing! The emotion and the events were just amazing. I'm not an immigrant so I don't know how it feels but I felt so sorry for Lupe when the proposition and I was so relieved when I found out that it wasn't going to go into effect immediately. I have never read this book but the second I saw it, I wanted to read it so bad! I am all about learning about the Women's Rights Movement. Go, girls!!🤗
