This book is face paced and exciting, and it has lots of mystery and adventure. A girl named Sophia is left to face the world with only a boy named Theo when her uncle is kidnapped. They must travel a long ways to find Sophia's Uncle's old college friend (who he might possibly still be in love with). I think my favorite part of this book so far is the way the author describes the memory maps, which are the type of maps that her Uncle makes. Memory maps seem so magical, yet scientific too. Overall, I would say that this book is good for ages 8 and above. The content is sometimes difficult to understand and some things are slightly scary. If you like fantasy, mystery, adventure, or action books, this book fits the bill.

A Wrinkle in Time is an amazing fantasy story of a girl named Meg, her little brother Charles Wallace, and their friend, Calvin O'Keeffe. They go with three mostly unknown, magical women to a terrible planet to save Meg and Charles Wallace's father, who is a scientist and has been missing for years. I won't tell you the end, but the first book is an amazing story and left me thinking about time in a whole different way. I am currently reading book two and it is just as powerful as the first book. I recommend reading both. I also recommend watching the movie because I loved it so much, although it was quite scary.

Really great book about not giving up hope. I loved it so much and I loved the plot twists and surprises. This book is about a two friends who discover that there is a way out of their dying world and they work hard to find their way out of it. I warn you though, this book ends very abruptly, so you will want to have the sencond book right away.

This book is great. It shows how working together and helping each other can be good for everyone. And, it also shows how much a kind action will help. The second book of the Ember series, I defiantly recommend it. Just like the first book, it has some unexpected plot twists and leaves you hanging.

I read this book in school and it was really good. It is about a disabled girl who saves her little sister's life.
